Conberate is offline-first, not local-only: the app needs an account, and the work you plan syncs to a server so it survives a lost Mac and follows you to a new one. What you do inside it is not tracked. The long version is below.
Last updated · 09 July 2026Conberate requires you to sign in — with an email and password, or through Google. Your email address is stored so the account can be identified and so I can reach you about it. If you sign in with Google, I receive only what Google passes along, which is your email and nothing more.
An account is required because the app syncs. That is a real trade, and I'd rather name it than bury it: your days exist somewhere other than one disk, and the price is that they exist on a server.
Your tasks and scheduled blocks, your quick-capture notes, your weekly goals, and your focus profiles sync to the server so they're available on every Mac you sign in on.
Your timeline separators and your closed-day snapshots are local by design. They are written to your user library and are never uploaded.
Everything is written to your Mac before it is sent anywhere. The app works fully offline; sync catches up when you reconnect.
The app ships with no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting of any kind. Nothing measures how you use Conberate. There is no advertising, no profiling, and no third party your content is handed to. It is not sold, not shared, and not read.
If crash reporting is ever added, it will be opt-in, it will carry no content from your days, and this page will say so before it ships.
There is no export feature in the app today. There was one before sync landed; it hasn't been rebuilt, and I won't claim a button that doesn't exist. It is on the roadmap.
Until then, write to me and I will send you everything held about you in a plain, open format, or delete your account and its contents outright. This is done by hand, and promptly.
Conberate is free. If you choose to support it, payment is a direct bank transfer or MoMo to a personal account — there is no card gateway and no third-party payment processor holding your details. The only thing recorded is the transfer memo you write, so a supporter can be matched to their account.
If a proper payment provider is added later, this section will name it before it ships.
You can ask to access, correct, export, or erase the information held about you — your account email and your synced content. Write to me and it's done. Deleting your account deletes the content that synced with it.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, it'll be noted in the app and the date above updated. What is collected will not be quietly widened.
